Mission Statement

Share the love of God with the children and families of Longview, Texas and our surrounding communities and to point the way so that each person can grow daily in a meaningful relationship with their Creator as they learn to live in a relationship with Him.

Sunday KidzChurch is a time for fellowship, scripture, and age-appropriate discussions to learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus. KidzChurch will be held in room 219/220 the second and fourth Sundays of each month for ages 4 - 4th grade. Please take your child to worship with you and they will be dismissed at the offering. Birth through age 5 are welcome to go to their classroom during worship time for age appropriate Bible stories, crafts, and snacks.

First Roots

If you don't think church is fun, then you haven't been to First Baptist Church in Longview. We have tons of fun learning about Jesus, building friendships, doing fun activities, and much more. The Children's Ministry is geared towards all children from birth to those who have completed 6th grade. Kids are also able to participate in lock-ins, camps, and missions throughout the year.

R.E.A.L. - Camp Tejas 2019

Get R.E.A.L. with Jesus this summer at Camp Tejas in Giddings, TX. Camp is July 9-13. We will leave Tuesday morning and return on Saturday afternoon. Register BY May 31 for $360. Register AFTER June 1 for $370.

Registration includes transportation, 5 days at camp, t-shirt, and two $10 wrist bands to use in the camp store. There will be a mandatory parent meeting-date prior to leaving for camp.

Leaders In Training 2019

Join us this year on the L.I.T. Mission Trip. Witness God work in powerful ways. Kids are trained, and on the mission trip, they grasp a heart for the Great Commission. The trip is open to kids that have completed 5th - 6th grade

Super Summer Sizzlin Music & Art Camp

Join us July 29 - Aug. 2 from 9am-3pm for a fun filled week of music and art! We will show off what we have learned to our parents/friends on Friday night in the sanctuary! For completed 1st - 6th graders
