Contemporary worship services using a band and praise singers are held in the theater every 2nd-5th Sunday mornings.

Locations

FBCL is located at 209 East South Street in downtown Longview. We have several buildings which house our various ministries.

Beaty Christian Education Building (BCEB) is accessed through sliding doors which face Fredonia Street.

The Main Sanctuary may be accessed from Fredonia or South Street.

The HUB is our dedicated space for students located on the Southwest corner of South and Green Streets.

The Great Hall is our multi-purpose/fellowship space on the lower level of the BCEB. 

The ROC parking lot is at the corner of Fredonia and South Streets.

Worship

We worship through a variety of musical styles, but our goal is always to bring the Lord authentic worship, to worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23). We will worship through music, prayer, confession, communion, Scripture reading, times of silence, and hearing the gospel proclaimed through preaching.

LifeGroups for All Ages
We encourage everyone here at First Baptist to get connected to one of our Bible study classes called LifeGroups… it's "the church within the church." LifeGroups are available for all ages. Puertas Abiertas

The FBCL Puertas Abiertas, or "Open Doors,” ministry welcomes all people who wish to worship during a Spanish-language service in the BCEB Theater.

The Table

During the Fall and Spring, adults meet in the Great Hall each Wednesday evening to share a meal ($7 per person), fellowship, and have intentional conversations about Scripture, faith, and life. Please RSVP for the meal by calling our church office at 903-758-0681. Children and youth also meet at the same time in various locations (and they have meals as well).
