Welcome to FBCL Children's Ministry!

First Baptist Church of Longview promotes family discipleship by combining church and home. We share the knowledge and love of Jesus with our children and encourage our families to reinforce these truths at home. Our prayer is that our children have a growing relationship with Jesus.

Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

First Roots

First Roots provides our children’s ministry an opportunity to reinforce biblical truths taught on Sunday’s. Our children dig deeper into “the bottom line” each Wednesday night. We have stations, games, our lesson, and small groups. Babies-kindergarten conclude their learning experience with social skills and centers. 1st-6th graders conclude their learning experience in the game room with fellowship and concession stand snacks.

Heal We will provide a place of healing and recovery for children and their families as they deal with the difficulties of life.

Outreach We will be a place that will provide opportunities for children to share God’s love with others outside the church walls.

Worship We will provide a place where each child and their family will have multiple opportunities to experience the real and living God.

Mega Sports Camp

MARCH 9-12, 2026, 9AM-NOON

This is a day camp over Spring Break for 1st-6th graders! Let's get our kiddos moving over their break! We will play basketball, volleyball, soccer, and pickleball.
Spots are limited and registration will close when the camp is full. Register Early to secure your child's place!
