6 Weeks - Kdg
We believe that it is possible to share the love of Christ with each child from the day they are born. We want to give families a place for friendship, encouragement, support, growth, and involvement with their preschoolers - to help each child to know God as friend and personal, loving Creator who created each of them with inherent value, significance, and individual worth.
Grades 1st - 6th
FBCL is dedicated to providing a safe place where kids of all ages can learn about God through an exciting and active environment. Each child at First Baptist is surrounded by God's love through loving, caring adults and through the rich offering of organized programs - Sunday Bible Study, Children's Worship, Vacation Bible School, Music, Missions, summer programs and many others.
Kid's Crossing is a place of wonder and discovery where children learn Bible truths that will change the course of their lives forever. Our role is to support and encourage families along their journey. We hold fast to the promise found in God's Word.

N.K. and L.I.T. are a discipleship ministry for children in the first through sixth grade. Through this ministry, adult leaders work with the children to:
- lead any of them who are lost to a saving knowledge of Christ
- help them discover their identity in Christ
- disciple them in spiritual disciplines
- equip them for sharing the Gospel and doing ministry
- help them find places of service in the church and in the community
There are five primary components of L.I.T. and Nehemiah Kids: partnership with parents, Disciple Group, ministry training, ministry involvement, and missions.
The Cross is the tool used in N.K. and L.I.T. to teach spiritual disciplines to children and preteens. The Cross is instrumental in helping believers evaluate their walk with Christ. When a person leaves out one of the important elements of The Cross, they miss out on God’s best for their life. Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 4:7, “Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness.” We have found that through teaching spiritual disciplines to children and preteens, their lives are rapidly transformed.
