Every 55+ member at First Baptist is mailed a copy of our monthly newspaper. Through this publication 55+ members discover opportunities for service, ways they can receive ministry, and information on upcoming activities and events.
Birthday Cards
The 55+ ministry sends every member a birthday card. It is an attempt to say to each one, “You are remembered on your special day!”
55 Alive
We offer an AARP 55 Alive Defensive Driving Course once a year. This enables 55+ adults to receive discounts on their car insurance.
Hospitality Volunteers
From time to time special projects of the church require extra help. During these times, 55+ are offered the opportunity to volunteer their help. Call the church office if you would like to be on this list and informed of upcoming opportunities.
