Hillside Village

Hillside Village Apartments is HUD housing.  Residents either have a handicap or are over 65, and are low income.  First Baptist officially began ministry here on Easter Sunday, 2009 through the vision and work of the Precept Lifegroup. 


This ministry seeks to build relationships with the people at Hillside in order to show and share the love of Christ.  This is done primarily through a weekly worship service on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm (John Glasgow is the pastor), transportation in church vans for various events including shopping, eating, and special events, prayer walking, Angel Food orders, Friday night movies, budget counseling for those in need, and numerous other ventures. 

Volunteers are needed to pray regularly for the Residents, drive church vans (regular license is fine), assist with the worship services, teach classes of special interests, lead or assist with fellowships and gatherings, and donate furniture for Residents in need.
